Antonio M. (Shakie) Massey was born April 23, 1983 to the parents of Sylvia Massey and William Chatman. He departed this life suddenly Saturday March 19, 2016.
Antonio was educated in the public schools of Nashville, and he received his GED. He loved to play video games, rap, and listen to rap music, and spend time with his kids. Antonio was a lot of fun and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora Massey; and grandfather, Thomas Massey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, son, Antonio, Montez, Marquise, Andraya, Sylviannah Massey and Antolisha Randle; mother, Sylvia Massey (Fred); father, William Cahtman; sister, Keona Massey and Tarnish Turner; brothers, William Massey, Mark Turner, William Chatman, Jr., Sammie Turner, and Timothy Massey; grandmother, Margie (Leroy) Williams; aunts, Carolyn Massey and Regina Massey, Lena Mae Lyons, Beatrice, Sue of South Carolina; uncles, Jimmy Trapp, Destry Massey, Herbert Massey and William Trapp; devoted friends, Tess, David, Lamont, EJ, TU, DJ, Little David, Twan, Wayne and Quincy; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 1:00 pm -6:00 pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike.
Visitation Friday, March 25, 2016 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon with funeral to follow at Greater Grace Temple Community Church, 901 Dalebrook Lane with Pastor Breonus M. Mitchell, Sr., host pastor and Minister Marvin C. Tate, Eulogist.
Interment Greenwood West Cemetery.
