Ada Mae (big sissy) Minor 76,


Of Evansville In was called home by her heavenly father on Thursday may 27th, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville TN. Ada was born on March 24th,1945 to the late Flossie Mae Wilson-Minor and Hurley Minor Sr. She was employed at Good Samaritan nursing home in Evansville as head cook for 38 years. She was a loving person who always had a smile on her face no matter what. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Bingo and you could always find a cold bottle of Pepsi next to her. She was the core of her family and would keep everyone in line.


Ada leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Myneasa (Chauncellor) Sims, one granddaughter A’chaunci Madison, sisters Joyce Dorsey of Indianapolis IN, Barbara Minor of Mount Vernon IN, Roberta(Jerry) Sandefur, Janice (Russell) Layne, and Judy Minor all of Evansville IN. Two brothers Hurley Minor Jr. and Michael (Lola) Minor both of Evansville IN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.


She was proceeded in death by her parents Flossie and Hurley Minor Sr. sister Josephine Sullivan, sister in law Robbie Minor and Brother in law Jerry Dorsey.
