Ada Louvenia Smith departed this life on November 3, 2018. She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Ada Louvenia Booker and Josh Williams on October 27, 1927. She was blessed to have the same first and middle name as her mother.
Louvenia was educated in the Maury County School system. She attended the Missionary Baptist Church as a child on Booker Ridge and accepted Christ in her life at an early age. Ada loved the Lord and was asked by relatives, neighbors and friends to pray for them.
Louvenia was married to James Edward Bullock Smith. She enjoyed listening to gospel singers, in her later years she attended Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church on Herman Street where Reverend Percy J. Clark was the pastor and she would visit many, many other churches weather it was for singing or attending for a funeral service.
Louvenia was preceded in death by husband, James Ed Bullock Smith; daughters, Minnie B. McGill and Earline Cotham; parents, Ada Louvenia Booker and Josh Williams; siblings, Josh Williams, Martha Counts, Albert Smith, Beatrice Long and Flynard Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Zera (Warren Jr.) Marshall and Doreatha Albright; 14 grandchildren, Kasey Marshall, Chritina Marshall, Brett David Duncan, Michell McCray, Michael McGill, Faith Walker, Vida Coleman, Sonya Davis, Marvin Cotham Jr., Miko Smith, Sailey Albright, Edison Albright, David Albright and Jonathan Albright; 12 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.
