Alan C. Thompson

Mr. Alan Thompson was born on February 9, 1963 to James L. Thompson and Delores Kimbro Thompson. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his residence.

Alan attended the public schools of Davidson County. He was employed by Ferguson Equipment. He professed hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Rose of Sharon Primitive Baptist Church, under the leadership of Elder William J. Tucker.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Thompson and Delores Kimbro Thompson; and brother, Allen Johnson

He leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted finance, Rebecca “Angela” Linzy; sons, Terry and Alan Thompson of Lavergne, TN., Josh Hambrick, Karim Williams, Timothy Crutcher, Michael Linzy, and Joe Cole, Nashville, TN.; daughters, Khadija Williams, and T`Angela Linzy; grandchildren, Timothy Crutcher III, Kemonte Crutcher, Landen Crutcher, Mikayla Sanderfer, CaNyisha Martin, and JaShanti Darden; God son, Zacheriah Foxworth; siblings, Victor Thompson, Tevin (Andrea) Thompson, Sean Thompson, Catrina Thompson, Edith Michelle (Lamont) Seymour, Tonya Marlowe, Teresa Thompson, and Katonia (Jeffrey) Dortch; aunt, Shelia Gill; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; devoted friends, Greg and Tony T.
