Alwanda Louise Evans-Woods departed this earthly life on Sunday December 13, 2000. She was born on October 16, 1968 to Henry and Bettie Evans in Nashville, Tennessee.
Alwanda was received her education from Madison Nazarene Christian Academy, Straford High School and graduated from Maplewood High School.
Alwanda’s desire was to become a nurse while waiting to be accepted into the nursing program, she attended Nashville Tech for unit clerk. Niki was employed by St. Thomas Hospital, General Hospital and Dell Technology.
Niki was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Evans and brother, Reginald Evans Maternal; grandparents, Jimmie Burns and Mildred Moore; paternal grandparents, Elgie and Anna Evans.
Alwanda leaves to cherish her loving memories, devoted daughter, Jawanda Lyons and son, James Evans; mother, Bettie Hoard; one sister, Erica Monique Martin; aunts, Lillie Burns, Donna Stroud, Hattie Moore and Mildred Alexander; two uncles, Lafayette Moore and Lloyd Moore; loving without limits granddaughters, Zion Lyons, Jordin Gant and Briana Evans; grandson, James Evans Jr., all of Nashville; nieces and nephews, Jonya, Justin and Dominique Shelton.
Alwanda loved children Elijah and Olivia and you had one and she saw it they became her baby. Cousins were more like sisters and brothers Chanta Marrow, Shelia Ridley, Lisa Evans, Sharon Davis Seelna Moore, Sylvia Alexander, Angela Castleberry, Lelah Moore, Latoya and Luther Smith. friends, Traci Bond, Shawna Stockard, Stacy, Jared Shannon, Sandra Scruggs; half-sister, Peggy, Ponchata; aunt, Christian Evans; great aunt, Pam Admas; and many many more (Any one left off please ask God to for forgive her mom)
