Anita K Sanders

Anita K. Sanders was born September 11, 1956, to J. B. Allen and Katherine C. Bryant. She is proceeded in death by husband Kenneth L. Sanders and daughter Ashley M. Sanders.

Anita always had a bright and loving smile to give to everyone around her. Anita graduated from Pearl High School in spring of 1974. Anita continued her education at Tennessee State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree and became a seamstress.

Anita loved to make and alter clothes from scratch. She enjoyed skating, baking cakes and pies, and spending time with her family.

Anita fought a long and hard battle with Alzheimer’s for the last 8 years of her life. Anita even battled and conquered Covid-19 in September 2021. Anita continued to fight until her last breath on June 18th at 8:57am.

Anita leaves to cherish in her memory: husband, Kenneth L. Sanders; daughter, Ashley M. Sanders; granddaughters, Essenyce L. Sanders and Makenzie G. Sanders; aunt, Marion Smith; niece, Tania Garrett; nephew, Jeremy Mallard; cousins, Michelle Bryant, Rochelle Bryant, LaTasha Hunter, Lamar Smith, Lamar’Yon Hunter, Tia Watkins, Tia’ja Watkins, Kemiya Congo, and Kemari Congo; God sister, Deborah Claytor; best friends, Sharon Spann and Elnora Franklin; along with a host of relatives and friends.
