Annie Louise Banks Moore

Annie Louise Banks Moore was born in Smyrna, Tennessee on November 19, 1929, to Sam Banks Sr. and Leola Hill. Annie was lovingly called and known by her family and friends as “Ms. Cookie. Annie departed this life into her eternal rest on June 10, 2021.


Annie created a legacy of love that will forever be cherished throughout her family. She is preceded in death by father, Sam Banks; and mother, Leola Hill; husband, Martin Luther Moore Sr.; brothers, Sam Banks Jr., Therman Banks, and Joseph Daniel Banks; and sons, Jerry Wayne Moore and Martin Luther Moore Jr.; and several grandchildren nieces and nephews.


Annie leaves behind daughters and sons, Betty Jean Banks, Clarence (Jan) Banks, Martha Louise Moore, Peggy Annie Moore, Joyce Moore, Debra Jean Moore, Michael Jerome Moore, and Larry Dean and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and additional family members and friends.
