Annie Bell Knight Woodard

Annie Bell Knight Woodard was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on October 30, 1947 to the Jeff S. Knight, Sr., and Elizabeth Bessie Hyman Woodard. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, September 1, 2020.

Annie was educated in the Rocky Mount, North Carolina at Phillips High School where she graduated. She was married to James Ervin Woodard
Annie accepted Christ at an early age and united later in life at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville, TN.

Annie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was employed for over 32 years at Baptist Hospital and 4 years at Centennial Medical Center in the Nutrition Food Department.

Annie was preceded in death by husband, James Ervin Woodard; parents, Jeff S. Knight, Sr., and Elizabeth Bessie Hyman Knight.

Survived by her devoted son, Liddon A. Crutcher, Sr; devoted grandchildren, Liddon A. Crutcher, Jr., Deasia Williams & Alexandria Crutcher; siblings, Clara Alexander, of Nashville, TN., Mary Jane Farmer (Clyde), Marjorie Louise Bell (Danny), Cynthia Pittman (Larry), Brenda Elizabeth Carter (Carner) and Dolly Ann Evans (Richard) all of Rocky Mount, N. C., Donald Vernell Knight (Belvin), Jeff Knight, Jr. (Joann) and William Henry Knight (Ann) of Greensboro, N. C., Robert Lee Knight (Mary), Joseph Hyman Knight (Janice), Gary Ray Knight (Dianne), Alphonso Knight (Tammy), and John Fitzgerald Knight all of Rocky Mount, N. C.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation Tuesday, September 8th, 6-7pm with funeral to follow at Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike. Interment Wednesday, Sept. 9th at 11 in Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
