Barbara Ann (Claud) Floyd

Barbara A. (Claud) Floyd 69, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her residence on May 12, 2020.

Barbara was born on December 13, 1950 to Fannie B. Coats and the late Houston Hatchet.
She was educated in the Nashville Public schools and graduated from Cameron High School. After graduating she started to work at National Life Insurance Company. She then worked at Bell South/AT&T for 30 years until retirement.

Barbara was the life of any gathering. She like fashionable cloths, music and nice cars.
After retirement, Barbara stayed home watched soap opera’s and watched her grandkids. She enjoyed reading her novels........also.

Barbara confessed her life to Christ at a early age, and joined Watson Grove Baptist Church.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Chanel Waters; grandchildren, Deontaye, Akiyah, and Autumn; mother, Fannie B. Coats; sisters, Sandra Moore (Leon), Jeannette Williams, and Sharon Atkinson (Victor); brother, Kevin Redmond; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We will miss her dearly, but her work here was done. And as Barbara would always say, “See you later Sweetie”
