Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Jones was born June 21st 1945 to the late Henry Boline and Helen Parker. Barbara entered into eternal rest Saturday November 19th 2016. All that knew and loved her affectionately called her Barbara Ann. Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeonita Henderson, her husband, Reginald Jones and devoted sister, Wanda Pillow.

Barbara Ann was educated in Metro Nashville Public schools and was a graduate of Tennessee State University.

In her early adult life she briefly left Nashville to go to New York to pursue a career in acting. Upon her return to Nashville she worked for Metro Social Service and later became an Administrator for Meharry Medical College.

Barbara Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to everyone she encountered. She will be greatly missed by all.

Those who will cherish her memory, a devoted son and caregiver, Antuan (Sharon) Henderson and son, Tristen Jones and daughter, Terronda Henderson; grandchildren, Trishonda Henderson, Travonda Green, Antony Henderson, Theodore Henderson, Tralonda Henderson, Casey and Sidney Jones; great grandchildren, Terron, Rashonn and Quincy Henderson, Eric Cosby Jr. and Jakeria Mays; very special niece, Evita (John) Christian; a host of other relatives and friends.
