Barry L. Eddy was born September 22, 1958, in Nashville Tennessee to Mary King-Kato and George Reed. He departed his earthly life on May 7, 2021.
Barry attended South Eastern High School in Detroit and later relocated to East High School in Nashville Tennessee.
Once he finished High School, he enlisted in the United States Military on November 27. 1978, where he was stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his honorary discharge October 31, 1981, he then returned to Nashville, Tennessee, where he received his Associate Degree at Daymar College in Medical Billing and Coding.
Barry enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, grandchildren and friends. He was a great son, father, grandfather and friend. He truly will be missed by all who knew him.
Barry was proceeded I death by his father, George Reed and brother, Larry Eddy.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his children, Yakeena James, Barry Eddy, Jr., Deyonnia (Booke) Roper and step-children, Charee James, Jay Roper and Jannie Roper; Grandchildren, Akbenation King, James, Cornisha and Cornelius Coleman, Destiny Ka’lay Jones, Amir Ka’lay Philips, De’Miyah and Isom Roper and a host of step-children; Great Grand kids, KaVeion and Kaleb Bouden, and Altonte Sheman Ingram; sisters, Carol Laws, Donna Walker; Brother Joe King and host of nieces and nephews and friends.
