Suddenly and far to soon. Bobby Joe Jordan passed away on Tuesday August 7, 2018.
Bobby was the son of Annie Mae Jordan and George Sales, both parents have preceded him in death.
He was born on November 27, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Metro Public Schools.
Boddie was 70 years young at the time of his passing.
Boddie accepted Christ and was baptized at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Pastor Herbert T. Brown.
Boddie loved the game of Golf and was a dedicated employer as a Golf attendant supervisor at Hillwood Country Club. Where he loved and was truly loved by every member and staff. Boddie was the first face golfers saw when coming to play a round- greeting each member and guest with his warm presence helpful demeanor and million dollar smile. Hillwood Country Club was part of Boddies Family.
Boddie had a kind spirit and would help anyone that was in need. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger.
Boddie will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and none more, than his loving and devoted daughter, La’Won Amason; Son, Bobby Joe Jordan, Jr.; sisters, Georgia (Billy) Gooch, Mary Kennedy “Lil Bit” , Viola Jordan “PeeWee”, Grandson, Keanthony Thompson; Great- granddaughter, Kaylee Bryant; Devoted friends, Thomas Brown, Mike Lathrop, Sandra Howse , Irven Boyd Jr. “June Bug” , Pamela Moore, as well as a host of other relatives and numerous friends.
