He has been with his husband, Roger Hendrix, the love of his life for 38 years. They were married in 2013 and have traveled the world together, living life to its fullest bringing back stories of adventure from around the globe. He was a man of many dimensions: a Democrat with a strong moral compass that always fought for the underdog and a fierce advocate for Gay Rights for many years. Professionally, he began his career as a respiratory therapist, soon becoming a department head. Over the years held many administrative rolls, last being vice president of St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. After 25 years serving at St Thomas he left to take leadership at JFK Medical Center in Lake Worth, FL., and was presently the Director of Cardiac and Pulmonary Services/Cardiac Service Line Leader at JFK Medical Center.

He is also survived by the Lily Tomlin Family including her brother, Richard Tomlin and long- time best friend, Tennessee Michael Tomlin and a host of friends that thought of him as family. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Pitcock. Bobby was a great son to his mother Inez, a great brother and best uncle. He is remembered by us all. “The nights are darker now that Bobby’s spark is missing from our lives”.
