Buford Woodard

Mr. Buford was born on June 30, 1929 in Pegram, Tennessee.

Buford enjoyed visiting local churches with his family and friends. He traveled with his seniors groups for weekend casino trips. He was always seen wearing his hats of many colors and puffing on a cigar.

He is survived by children, Rosalyn McKissack, Shirley Stone, Vickie McKissack and Ronald Woodard, Sr.; grandchildren , Kimberley McKissack, Chericka & Derrick McKissack, Sean Appleton and Ronald L. Woodard (Cicely); great grandchildren, Titus and TaLeah Ellsworth, Derrick, Jr., Jonathan and Joseph Woodard; devoted nephews and nieces, Darin Bell, Patricia Bell, and Karen Young, Sharon Waggoner, Sheledia (Derrick) Talley and Darnell (LaToya) Young, Kenneth Waggoner, Shirley Waddy as well as a host of other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
