Camilla Olivia Ellison Walker

Age 73, transitioned March 15, 2018 at her residence.

Survived by devoted children, Deprecia Ellison, Desir`ee (Marquies) Holland & Ry`cine (Michelle) Ellison; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; siblings, Clifton Ellison, Melvin Ellison, Vanessa Howard, Elaine Moore & Maggie Louise; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.


Camilla Olivia Ellison Walker was born to Johnnie Mae Ellison and Green Moore on July 30, 1944. She was preceded in death by he by both parents.

She started her education in Franklin, TN., Williamson County school system and at the age of seven her family up rooted moved to Chicago where she attended Julius Haze Elementary & Farragut High.

Camilla was a hard worker, she worked for the mental corporation and a er several years she retired. In 1980 she moved back to home to Franklin where she worked at Molly Maid and Claiborne Hughes. She retired a er working several years.

She accepted Christ at an early age at the Green Street Church of God then she moved her membership to Mt. Zion Baptist Church do to her health because, she wasn't able to travel back and fore to Franklin.

Camilla was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Y. Ellison; mother, Johnnie Mae Ellison; sister, Lura Ellison; and brother, Barry Ellison.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted children, Deprecia Ellison, Desir`ee (Marquies) Holland and Ry`cine (Michelle) Ellison; grandchildren, Mandrell R. Christman, Brittany Ellison, Jartavious Wilson, Danielle Wilson, Rycine Ellison Jr, Niazaha Ellison and Emren Ellison; nu- merous great grandchildren; siblings, Cli on Ellison, Melvin Ellison, Vanessa (Jerome) Howard, Elaine Moore & Maggie Louise Moore; sister-in-law, Ima Jean Ellison; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; devoted friends, Dan Wilson and Jazz Ellison.

Visitation Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 6-7pm with Celebration of Life service to follow at 7pm in the chapel of Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN.
