Carnell Heyward Hughes

Carnell H. Hughes was born September 19, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee. She went home to be with the Lord March 25, 2015.

Carnell accepted Christ at an early age. She walked in great faith with the Lord. Carnell was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and daughter.

She graduated from the Metro Public School System and then furthered her education bye receiving an Associate Degree from a local college. After receiving her degree she went to work for the Board of Education as an Account Specialist for the Metro Schools.
Carnell was preceded in death by her father, Herman Heyward; sister, Debra Johnson; and brother, Ricky Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Chanell M. Hughes; son, Michael Hughes; grandchildren, Jahriya Holmes and Deauntray Chatman; mother, Lenora Heyward; sister, Fredia Heyward; brother, Danny Heyward; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Interment, Greenwood North Cemetery, Goodlettsville, TN .
