Carol Gentry was born November 24, 1941, in Dickson, TN to Mariah and Willie Louis Gentry Sr.
Carol passed peacefully from her earthly life on February 1, 2023.
She attended school in Dickson County and worked as a Seamstress, Hairdresser and later retired at Casual Male Store.
She accepted Christ in her life and was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church for many years.
Carol was a faithful and very active member in church; she served as Vice-President of the Inspirational Choir, President of the Alice Alderson Bible Class, Assistant Teacher in Vacation Bible School, and Team Captain for Women’s Day.
Preceded in death by parent, Mariah, and Willie Louis Gentry Sr; husband, Lester Dixon; sister, Annie Gentry; brother, George McKinley.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories brother, Jerry Gentry (Martha) Lebanon, TN; devoted niece, Patrice G. Johnson (Kevin); devoted great niece, Mary’onia Gentry; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends; especially the members of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church.
