Preceded in death by parents, Windred (Ruby) Batts; brothers, James Batts and Joe Batts.
Survived by siblings, Georgia(Henry) Watkins, Fred (Sheila) Batts, Emma (Johnny) Wordlaw, Charlene, Dianne, Alvin, David & Gloria Batts.
Visitation Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 6-7pm with funeral to follow at St. Mark Baptist Church, 1226 6th Ave North with Pastor Kenneth L. Richardson, eulogist.
Interment 10AM Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 in Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
