Charles Edward Grant the eldest son of Charles Grant, Sr (Father) decease and Minnie Louise Shurman Grant (Mother) decease; sisters, Rosetta Pepples Russell and Tallulah Andrea Grant (Both decease).
Charles was a lover of basketball and he played so much that he wore a his souls out on his tennis shoes.
He graduated from Pearl High School in the glass of 1965. After Pearl High he went to Tennessee State University where he was offered a scholarship from the University of Michigan State.
Charles was a hard hard man where he worked at the Ford Glass Plant for a number of years and also with the Metro Water & Sewer Company and a delivery person for the United States Postal Service.
He was a loving son, brother, husband and father. Charles loved his entire family and his family loved him dearly.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories, devoted brother, Claude (Bubber, Slim) Grant; devoted wife of 52 years, Patricia A. Pittman Grant; children, Alisa D. Curtis Lamont, and Charles M.; grandchildren, Lamar D. Grant (Decease), Latasha J. Grant, and Curtisa Pittman; great grandchildren, twin girls, Kayla, Alissa Grant, JaMicheal L. Connor Grant; a host of nieces and nephews; faithful and loving brother-in-law, Sollie Pittman Jr., of 52 years.
