Charles Leroy Harrison was born to Dervis Harrison and Mary Coleman Harrison on March 09, 1958. He departed this life on March 25, 2017 at Alive Hospice, Inc., in Nashville, Tennessee.

Charles accepted Christ at an early age. He later united with Mays Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, under the late Reverend Harold Searcy.

Charles was educated in the Davidson County School System. He was a graduate of Maplewood High School.

Charles worked as a factory worker for years. Later he decided to follow his passion to work in health care. He took up nursing and worked in home health till his health failed. He loved people and never met a stranger. His hobbies included gardening and shing.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Dervis Harrison and his brother, Pervis "Nay" Harrison.

He leaves to cherish his memories, loving and devoted mother, Mary Coleman Harrison; stepfather, Seymour Myers; two devoted brothers, Jerome Harrison and Ezekiel Knight; two sisters, Beverly Spencer and Penny Harrison; sister-in-law, Deborah Harrison; nephew, Lemont Harrison; nieces, LaShonda Hobson, LaTonya Lewis, Latoya Yeargin, LaTasha Harrison and LaTisha Harrison; devoted cousin, Berta Johnson; and a host of other devoted family and friends.
