Charlie Michael (Charles) White of Madison transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, December 12, 2014.
Charlie Michael (Charles) White was born January 12, 1952 to the late Mr. William Henry White Sr. and Mrs. Cora Louise White. He was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System and graduated from East High School in 1971. Upon completion of high school, he entered into the work force as a Printing Press Operator and continued this type of work for 42 years. He retired from TFS Graphics in 2013.
Charles professed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at Mount Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church by then Pastor Lester Cousins. He continued his Christian Journey until his death at which time he was a member of The Temple Church under Pastor Darrell A. Drumwright.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his best friend and devoted wife of 20 years, Petrina White; four daughters, Christina White of New Mexico, Amber (Clarence) Watkins, of Nashville, TN., Myka (Jonathan) Hambrick of Huntsville, AL and Alondra White of Nashville, TN; four brothers, William (Eloise) White Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, James W. White, George B. (Betty) White, Sr. and Jarrell (Corita) White all of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Elizabeth Nicholson and Diane White both of Nashville, TN; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins, his best friend from high school, Robert Ward and many other friends.
Public viewing Wednesday, December 17th from 1-7pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike.
Visitation Thursday, December 18th from 11AM-12:00 Noon with funeral to follow at the Temple Church, 3810 Kings Lane with Darrell A. Drumwright, M. Div., Senior Pastor.
Interment in Hills of Calvary Memorial Gardens.
