Miss Chris was born November 17, 1946, in Nashville, TN to the late Estes and Lucille Marlow. She was educated in the Metro Schools and was a graduate of Pearl High School. She was a cook by profession.
Proceeded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother, and two grandsons.
Miss Chris accepted Christ early in her life she then went on to be baptized. Later in her life she became a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ till death.
She was blessed with 4 devoted daughters, Derenda Corder, Stephanie Blacksmith, Tonya Marlowe and Katonia (Jeffery) Dortch; Sister: Tammy Marlow; aunt: Lurlene Price. Devoted Cousin Helen and James Hunter. Grandchildren Natasha McHaney, Brandon Marlow, Gregory McHaney, DeShawn Cotten, Patrick Marlow, and Kenneth Marlow; Nieces and nephews: Victoria Anderson, Timothy Lindsey, Jameka and Andre Marlow; 18 great grandchildren; good friend LaTrece Allen, Best friend of 70 years Katie Check, great nieces and great nephews; 1 amazing godson Steve Flemings. Multiple extended family members and friends.
