Christopher Lamont Dillard aka ‘Steel’ was born July 10th, 1976, and departed this life on March 30th, 2022. Christopher was a graduate of Stratford Comprehensive High School. He was employed by The General as an Information Technology Analyst.
He was a football fanatic, a lover of nature, live music, travel, and custom cars.
As a man of faith, he also enjoyed sharing inspirational quotes, Bible verses, and uplifting sports documentaries.
Chris was also a member of Bethel World Outreach Church for about 16 years.
He was united in matrimony to Renata Hayes. This union was blessed with one son. Chris leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife Renata Hayes-Dillard, a loving son Christian Dillard, a caring mother, Donna Dillard, Uncles, Larry (Mary) Dillard, Aunts, Lurlene Woodruff, and several Aunts- in law Beverly Ford, Diane Leslie, Aretha, Bonita, & Jeanine. Uncles in law, Fitzgerald, Mark, Stanley & Tim. Mother-in-law, June. Father-in-law, Andrew. Brothers in Law, Chris & Lamar, Sister-in-Law, Bachara as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, friends, and co-workers.
