Mr. Clarence "Herb" Brewington affectionately Known as Chip was born on May 31, 1950 in Nashville Tennessee. He was called home to rest on January 28, 2024. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Clarence and Mrs. Rosie Lee Brewington Jr, and his sister Gloria Lavon Brewington.
Clarence was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System and attended Cameron High school. He truly loved his family especially his daughters, brother, sisters and grand Children. He was always willing to help and serve his family, friends, neighbors and anyone in the Nashville Surrounding area. Chip was a collector of all things fine and unfine. Everyone that knew him and needed anything checked his house first before going out to buy it. Nine times out of ten he had what you needed right there on Lischey Street.
Clarence leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughters Dennisha "Sue" Henderson, Quishawn "Dean" Brewington, Anaya Gatewood, and Antoinette Avant.
Sister Alice Hamlett and devoted brother Willie (Gloria) Brewington; Nephews Micheal (Carla), Geoffrey and Broderick Hamlett, and Justin Brewington; Neices Lywanis Hamlett, Yolanda (Cornelius) Brown and Kimberly Hutchinson; Grandchildren Jesse, Brianna, Dashawn, Ani Janae, Jeni’ya, Roberto, Amira, and Aaron. A host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
