Clarence Gleaves was born August 08, 1935 in Nashville, Tenness to Athey and Jennie Gleaves, He entered into rest peacefully on June 15, 2019 at his residence in East Nashville.
Clarence was married Martha Gleaves “Lady” on December 06, 1954, they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together and to this blessed union five were born.
Clarence was the last sibling of 6 brothers, Tony, Fred, Jim, Melvin, Howard and Zell Gleaves and 3 sisters, Pearline (Rucker), Rose and Lucille Gleaves.
Clarence is survived by his children, Marion Turner, Stephanie (Tyree) Sellers, Terrance (Aletha) Gleaves, & Yvette Gleaves; devoted in-laws; Donna (Aldric) Condrey, Robert (Linda) Turner and Dorothy (Melvin) Lauderdale, 14 grandchildren whom loved him dearly, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
