Cleveland Curtis Shaw Jr.

August 21, 1991 — April 8, 2021

Born August 21, 1991 entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 8, 2021. He attended Nashville Metro Public Schools where he received his diploma from Hillwood High School Class of 2009.


Growing up Cleveland was a very active, kind hearted, competitive young man always hanging out and joking with his friends in Cumberland View Apartments (a.k.a. Dodge City Projects) where the name “Ears” was formed.


As a young adult Cleveland was proud and overjoyed to become a father. He loved his children with everything in him, as well as the other children in his community. He was very protective of his family and friends. He loved helping others and giving back to his community. Some of his memorable hobbies were riding his dirt bikes and 4 Wheelers.


Cleveland was a very successful entrepreneur, as well as an active member of Gideon’s Army, where he was a community soldier on his way to becom ing Violence Interrupter.


He was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Betty Allen.


Cleveland memories will be everlasting cherished to parents, Tara Allen and Cleveland Shaw Sr.; daughters, Ca’Myah and Alonna Martinez (Aman da Martinez); son, Cleveland Shaw III; step kids, Jayon (Doodle) Simmons and Aniya Kirk; brothers; Marquise Allen (Ke’Vontay Waters and Jatonio Evans), Shawn Shaw (Shawn Shaw Jr.), Alex Shaw, Cedric Shaw; sisters, Darcell Walton (Byron Walton and Bailey Sublett), Shatara Shaw (Cor tavious Burns, Shanta Shaw; Favorite Uncle, Darryl Allen; devoted friends, Jackie “Lil Red” Sims, Prince “Lil Cuz” Dean, and The Dodge City Family; devoted and cherish girlfriend, LaQuinta Kirk and a host of other devoted cousins, family and friends.
