Cynthia Lynette Gardner graced this world with her essence on March 23, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the beautiful daughter of Carolyn Shakir (Nial Shakir) and Clifton Claybrooks.
Cynthia was educated in the Metro Nashville public school system. Where she attended Maplewood High School in 1986.
She loved to enjoy life and lived it one day at a time. Cynthia was very outspoken, hence her ability to make friends wherever she went.
Cynthia Lynette Gardner departed this life to be with God on August 15, 2018.
She was preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Shakir; uncle, Matthew Miller; aunt, Alma Quaye; and nephew, Mikal Shakir.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Brandon (Ashley) Gardner, James Gardner (Tre), and Terry Turner ( T. J.); daughter, Terri Tuner (Terrilyn); step dad, Na`il Shakir; sisters, Zakkiyya (Felton) Lewis and Suad (Reginald) Johnson; brother, Makdee (Lynn) Shakir; granddaughter, Harper; niece, Ryan; nephews, Travis and Lil Felton; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends; a very special and devoted friend, Marci, Tracie and Quinta (Toe).
