Dalachandra Lynn Washington was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 29, 1971, to her parents, Pearline Washington and Andrew Lee Newcomb who proceeded her in death. Dalachandra, lovingly called “Peaches” by her family and friends departed this life suddenly on September 23, 2018, at Vanderbilt Hospital.
She was baptized at an early age at the Church of the Living God. Peaches attended Nancy Webb Kelly United Methodist Church near her home as an adult. She was an avid writer who loved to write poems and stories. She had a great love of children.
Peaches also loved playing with her baby dolls and music. She always wore a beautiful smile. She attended Whites Creek Comprehensive High School.
Peaches leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Ms. Pearline Washing; three sisters, Andrea Andreson, Trina Thompson and Tericka Washington; one brother, Andrew Washington; a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, Darchelle (Juan) Moore, Karen Newcomb, Chundra Newcomb and Deborah Barksdale; devoted cousin, Vanessa Sanford, a host of other cousins, family and friends.
