On July 8, 1979, Elder Larry Clardy and Kawantha Clardy welcomed Damion Chandler into the world in Nashville, Tennessee. Damion grew to be a devoted, protective, and loving father to four children, and the center of his world, Keayra Chandler, Damion Chandler Jr., Isaiah Chandler, and Trenton Edwards.
Damion attended Pearl Cohn High School, where he met his best friend Demetrius Daughtdrill where they spent plenty of time making music, which was one of Damion's most exciting things to do.
Damion was a man of deep and unwavering faith, which was cultivated as a child at Rose of Sharon P.B. Church. He was taken to church every Sunday by his father, mother and grandmother. Damion accepted Christ at an early age at Rose Sharon P.B. Church, where he served as an active member on the usher board.
He later joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he was welcomed into a vibrant faith family. (He always talked about Jesus). He enjoyed attending 11am service with his mother at the Old Hickory location.
He preceded in death by Grandfather, Jesse Charles Chandler, Grandfather Rev W.L White, Aunt Kassandra Clardy and Cousin Calvin Chandler.
He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Keayra Chandler, Damion Chandler Jr, Isaiah Chandler and Trenton Edwards.
