DarTesha (Tesha) QuTonia-Antoneke (Tapp) Spencer was born on October 8, 1977 to Wendell and Darla (Wilson) Tapp in Nashville, Tennessee. She departed this life too soon at the tender age of 36 years old on March 20, 2014 at her home.
Tesha was reared in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ at the age of16 years old and was baptized at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. William R. Harris. Starting out early in the workforce at the age of 15 years old, Tesha worked various jobs while attending high school and later worked in telecommunications, the Tennessee State government (Human Services), and her final position in private industry.
On her birthday in 2002, DarTesha and Melvin Marsh welcomed her beloved daughter, Velvet Skye Tapp, whom she leaves to cherish her memories. She also leaves her spouse, Wayne Spencer, her devoted mother, Darla Bennings, father, Wendell (Typris) Tapp, one brother, Christopher (Layana) Peterson, one sister, Christina Peterson, Esq., grandmother, Barbara Wilson, mother-in-law, (?), and a host of in-laws, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
