Dawn Lee Jones passed away at 67 years old on February 4, 2022; she was born December 22, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dawn confessed love for Christ at an early age. She was educated in Davidson County School System before becoming the head cook at some of Nashville's most popular restaurants. Dawn loved having her children with her and large family gatherings for all occasions. It will be hard to imagine holidays and events without her wit, humor, caramel cakes, and sweet potatoes. She was the most patient and loving person. Her spirit was warm and welcoming. Her smile would brighten your day, and her words would give you strength. Dawn never met a stranger, and her home was open to everyone. She indeed was the glue that bonded her family.
Dawn is preceded in death by her father, John Fletcher Sr., mother, Mable Bowen; brothers, John Fletcher Jr. Thomas Fletcher, Jessie Fletcher Sr., and sister, Harrietta Whittaker.
Dawn leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Chiquinta Anderson, Shelenda Fletcher, Teresa Jones, Bonnie (Michael) Gentry, Monique Fletcher, and her son Sedcick Fletcher, Grandchildren Tresa Fletcher, Jasmine Tulloss, Micayhia Gentry, Jordan Rudolph, Zayia Rudolph, Terry Fletcher, Chris Stinson, Dequane Fletcher, Zackary Rudolph and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Sibling Deborah Washington, Opel Fletcher, Mary Fletcher, Fannie Covington, Linda Phillips, T. Howard (Shirley) Fletcher, Harry (Bessie) Fletcher, James (Victoria) Fletcher, David (Toya) Fletcher, Robert (Liz), Fletcher, Charles Fletcher., and a host of nieces and nephews.
