Dewitt Carter Patton, age 83 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Dewiitt was preceded in death by both of his parents, Will and Serriena Patton and all 7 of his siblings, as well as his stillborn unnamed twin son. Siblings include: William Patton (Ella), Cornelia Bellamy (Lee), Easter Kennedy (Alex) John Patton (Blanche), Rena Harris, Frank Patton (Beverly).
Dewitt is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Martha Patton; his 2 devoted daughters, Valerie Patton and Lisa (Danny) Blackshear; 3 beloved grandchildren, Diamond Jackson, Daniel (Teriyana) Blackshear, and Charity Blackshear; great granddaughter, Riley Kimbro; As well as a host of dedicated cousins, nieces, and nephews.
