Dora Vendella Booker was born on December 15,1947 to Dora Mae Mason. She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dora professed her love for Christ at the age of 12 at Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J.R. Bridgewater.
Dora was educated in the Maury County School System. Where she graduated from Carver Smith High School in 1966.
She loved to enjoy life and lived it one day at a time. Dora was known to speak her mind, hence her ability to make friends wherever she went.
Preceded in death by father, Abraham Mason.
Dora leaves to cherish her memory a dedicated mother, Dora Mae Mason; her loving son, Gregory (Angela) Wilson; granddaughter, Breanna Wilson; sisters, Annie (Grady) Riddle and Trever Mason (David) Hobson, who she adored; brothers, Eric, Craig, Reginald Mason; and Leon Booker; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, including Mary Armstrong who she was close to. She also leaves some very special and devoted friends, Yvannie Alderson (her “Big sister”), David (Wanda) Prie, Roberta Dobbins, Betty Pierce & family, Carolyn Crosby, Bernice Mason, Phillis Boyd, Maria Miller, Angela Osteen; other relatives and friends.
