Earnest Thompson

Earnest Thompson was born September 16, 1937 to Samuel and Fannie Mae Thompson. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, August 8, 2016.

He received his education in the Davidson County School System. Earnest united in matrimony to the late Marion Jean Thompson, to this union Earnest Thompson was born. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends.

Earnest was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Thompson and Mae Thompson; sisters, Willie Mae Thompson, Alberta Carter, and Lizzie Mae Thompson; brothers, Leroy, Henry, and Jimmy Thompson.

Earnest leaves to cherish his memories, son, Earnest Jr (Tiffany) Thompson; daughter, Adrian Dalton; sister, Dorothy Thompson; brother, Andrew Thompson; five grandchildren, TyDarius, Xavier, Amyah, Asiah, and Trinitee; sisters in law, Cora Lee Thompson and Sandra Reed; brothers in law, James and Samuel Fosten; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike.

Visitation Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with A Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00pm at Highland Hills Funeral Home, 2422 Brick Church Pike.
