Ebony Atiana Williams was born March 29, 1994 in Nashville, TN to mother, the late Mrs. Ramona Williams Johnson and father, Mr. Shawn Johnson Sr. Ebony peacefully departed this life on January 24th, 2023. She attended public schools in Detroit, MI and Nashville, TN where she met many lifelong friends. Ebony Received her High School Diploma at Pearl Cohn High School. At a very young age Ebony was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis. Despite her diagnosis Ebony remained in good spirits and fought her illness with a smile and grace.
Ebony had a wonderful personality and was a ray of light to anyone she was around, she learned to cook at an early age and enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends. Ebony created a social media page titled “WhatEbEats” where she showcased the meals she would prepare. Ebony never let Lupus get in the way of her dreams and aspirations. She lived life to the fullest and never allowed her illness to control her life. She was a self-taught painter and artist, and she loved writing mini novels.
Ebony’s life will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family; her Father, Shawn Johnson Sr., her siblings, Laia Johnson, Shawn Johnson Jr,Jailen Watson (Craig Watson), and Jada Johnson; Her best friends, Jasmine Davis (Kyre Davis) and Chonta Hickman (Lahzawaun Hickman), her niece and nephew, Jelani Braden & Isaiah Braden, Her God Children, Kyre Davis Jr. & K’yonna Davis, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins
