Edward Allen Sadler, Jr of Nashville, TN passed away on Sunday December 2, 2018 at Grace Healthcare of Whites Creek. He was born August 2, 1948 in Nashville, TN to the late Fairola (Faye) and Edward Sadler, Sr. Edward graduated from Cameron High School, went on to attend Harvard University, and ultimately received his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University. He practiced law in Nashville and was sworn in as the first black Night Court Magistrate in 1977.
Edward attended Clark Memorial United Methodist Church and was a member of the Sanctuary Choir and the United Methodist Men. He often led bible study and was an active member of the congregation.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Fairola and Edward Sadler, Sr; son, Tai; children, Amiee and Warren Sadler; granddaughter, Destiny Blair Sadler; siblings, Wayne (Linda) Sadler, Tammy and Elvin Cannon; nephew, Kendrick Sadler; devoted aunt, Flora Love, and a host of other special family and friends.
