Emma Mae Marshall has made her journey home and is in the enjoyment of that sweet and perfect rest. She was born on April 26, 1925 in Donelson, Tennessee to Wade and Emma White.
She departed this life on December 9, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.
Emma professed her hope in Christ and joined Mt. Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J. L. Shead where she continued serving faithful until her health declined. She was educated in the Metro public school system in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was united in holy matrimony to Tommy Lee Sr. To this union they were blessed with seven children.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Wade White, Sr., and Emma Mae White; husband, Tommy Lee Sr; children, Tommy Lee Marshall, Jr., and Ronald E. Marshall; two sisters and six brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Flora (James) Huddleston, Tommy (Harold) Merritt, Phil Marshall, Sandra Blackmon and Vickie (Robert Jr) Blackmon; nine-teen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Lilie Harbor and Irene Smith; and a host of great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends; devoted friend, Cornelius (Minnie) Scott, Max Teague and Vera Finney.
