Geraldine Moore Wilson was born August 18, 1951 to James T. Moore Sr. and Rosie Lee Gilbert Moore. She accepted Christ at an early age at Swift Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Freeman Geter Sr., she then moved her membership to Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church along with Reverend Freeman Geter Sr.
Geraldine served on the usher board and the choir at Good Samaritan M.B. Church. She joined Mt. Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Clinton Lewis Sr., where she enjoyed singing in the choir faithfully.
She was educated in Metro Davidson County School System, then later attended Nashville Medical Career College where she earned her Associates Degree. Retired from Quest Diagnostics in 2016 after enjoying her career as a phlebotomist.
Geraldine met William (Thee) her soulmate in 1991; they united in Holy Matrimony on December 23, 1995. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and going on golf trips with her husband until his death. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. They often gathered for family functions and holidays.
Geraldine was very devoted to her mother.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Rosie Moore; husband William (Thee) Wilson; children Kevin and Mary Sherrill; and sister Mary Perkins.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children, sons James Sherrill, Larry Sherrill; daughter Valencia Sharp and brother James T. (Pita) Moore Sr.; grandchildren Tecoria, Tairia, Taleka, Lee, Brandon, Jaqunatez, Giyah, Kevon, and LeJondea, a host great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends; devoted friends Marcia Jordan, Sandra Williams, Pastor Janet Ridley, Debra Grizzard, and Judy Kennedy.

Survived by children, James, Larry (Judy) Sherrill & Valencia Sharp; 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; brother, James T. Jr. (Rita) Moore. Public viewing Wednesday, Aug. 25th, 2-6pm at Highland Hills, 2422 Brick Church Pike. Visitation Thursday, Aug. 26th, 6-7pm with funeral to follow at Mt. Hopewell MB Church, 2911 Stokers Ln. Interment Monday, Aug 30th at 11am in the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
