Harold Carter Whitfield

Harold Carter Whitfield was born on August 13, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee. He transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.
Harold attended Pearl High School. He retired from Vanderbilt Hospital in 2003.
Harold was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Jefferson Street under the pastorate of Reverend J. W. Watkins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas P. Whitfield, Sr., and mother, Delomega Whitfield.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory two sons, one devoted, Derrell (Diane) Whitfield and Carlos Whitfield; grandchildren, Darcell, Daj`ion, and Devol; brothers, Thomas P. Whitfield Jr., of Decatur Illinois, and Leslie (Faith) Whitfield, of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Madelyn (Charles) Anglin, O`Fallon, Missouri; devoted friends, Janice Wade, and Danny Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family visitation Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike with Reverend Tim Bryant, eulogist.
