Departed this life December 4, 2013 at St Thomas Midtown Hospital. Hattie leaves to cherish her loving memory: children, Bessie (John) Gentry, Gerris (Donald) Elliott, Shirley Holt, William Holt, Kenneth (Angie) Holt, and Barbara Holt; sister, Mattie Holt of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers-in-law, David Ray(Marie) Holt, Edward,Tinny, and Bill Holt; sisters-in law, Doris Holt, Carolyn McKenney, Jeanette Robinson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mary Ruth of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
Devoted friends Maria Anderson and Rosemary Lee.
Public viewing Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 from 4-6PM at Highland Hills Chapel, 2442 Brick Church Pike. Visitation Monday, Dec. 9th, from 5-6PM with funeral to follow at Highland Hills Chapel. Interment Tuesday, Dec. 10th at 11AM in Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery.
