Hazel Durrett

Hazel Durrett was born December 20, 1945 in Greenbrier, Tennessee to Booker Durrett and Novella Durrett. She departed this life on August 16, 2018.

Hazel attended Pearl High School were she graduated from. She was a very out going person who she never met a stranger.

Hazel worked as a Wares Grader at Goodwill Industries in Nashville, Tennessee where she dedicated her life for twenty three years.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Booker and Novella Durrett; brothers, Mederith Durrett and James Durrett; aunt, Geneva Summers; long time companion, James Frank Sanders; and great nephew, Micah Knight.

She leaves to cherish her memories, brother, Marshall (Bernice) Holland; sister, Esther Knight; devoted niece, Elizabeth Knight; niece, Monica Durrett; nephews, Matthew Knight, Jimmy (Danana) Durrett, Dale Durrett and Meredith Wynn; aunts, Mary Summers and Callie Wells; sister-in-law, Martha Jo Durrett; step children, Keith Puckett, Gloria (John) Rose, Beverly (Kerry) Williams, Vincent Sanders, Ray (Wilamenia) Sanders and Terrance Sanders; great nieces, Jada Durrett and Briona Venoy; great nephews, Nicholas Sharpe, Devin Durrett, Jeromy (Amanda) Durrett, DeCash Holt Durrett, Keith Pritchett Jr., and Kaleb Pritchett; great great nieces and nephews, Chyron Durrett and Khyron Durrett; cousins, Sheryl (Donald) Wood, Leon Summers, Jr., Timothy (Teri) Summers, Tracey (William) Kearney, Michael Bigbee, Daryl (Jill) Bigbee, Janice Summers, Faye Summers, Gerald Summers and Tony Bigbee; other relatives and friends.
