Henry D. (Baby Jr) Lawrence

Henry David Lawrence, Jr., affectionately called (Baby Jr.) peacefully closed his eyes on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at 12:15 a.m.at Signature Nursing Facility, at the age of 83.

He attended school in Nashville, TN and Akron, OH. Baby Jr. joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on August 13, 1952.

After spending several years in Akron, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Baby Jr. returned home to Nashville, Tennessee.

He loved music and entertained the residents and staff at Signature Nursing Facility.

He was baptized at Mt. Ararat Church four years ago.

Preceding Baby Jr. in death was his son, Larry (Lamb) Burton, his parents, Henry David (Bettye) "Uncle Babe" Lawrence, Sr. & Marjorie Bowen (John) Ellarson.

With pleasant memories to always cherish our Baby Jr., are his daughters Mrs. Francine Renee (Nathaniel) Hollowell and Karen Greer-Black. Grandchildren, Stacy Monique Blackwell, Octavius Raphael Beard, Francine Renee Davis, II and six others. Great grandson, Darryl Anthony Blackwell, II. Great granddaughter, Sanniyah Monee Beard; siblings, Gary (Tanya) Lawrence, Akron, OH; Terrance (Monifa) Lawrence, Ashland City, TN; Kelvin (Shelia) Lawrence, Akron, OH; Kimberly Lawrence, Akron, OH; Sharon Lawrence, Akron, OH; Malanda (Roosevelt) Stewart, Jackson, MS; Very, Very Devoted Cousin -Samuel Porter (Sherry) Sublette; Devoted Friend - Ethel (Roxie) Landrum;Nieces, nephews, cousins & friends
