Herman Goldie Hite

May 27, 1960 — September 13, 2018

A Memorial It is with great sadness that the Hite family announces the passing of Mike Hite (Herman G Hite). After battling with stage 4 colorectal cancer for nearly three years, on Thursday September 13th 2018, he passed away at the age of 58. Mike had a kind heart, he would often do whatever he could to help those in need. As an example during the snow he pulled many people from ditch’s asking nothing in return or offering a ride to take them wherever they needed to go; he never turned down a customer in need if they lacked the ability to pay. When someone would meet him for the first time he made them feel as if they were a part of the family. Mike was a hard working man and the vary definition of manliness, he could lift as much as 2 men, and he was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything he put his mind to. Our family would jokingly say that he had so much testosterone that even if he had ten kids none of them would ever be girls. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Michelle and his four sons, Michael, Curtis, Bradley, and Jonathan. His nephew and niece Deven Breece (spouse Tanna) and Julie Bolton (spouse Rusty) who were like his own children, Not to mention Aaron Minion also thought of as like a son. Mike will also be fondly remembered by his Siblings Saundra (Allen) Scott, Edmond Hite, Paula (Peter) Hough, Paul L Jr. (Brenda) Hite

Service in memory of Mike will be held on Sunday October 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the Nashville First Seventh Day Adventist Church – 2800 Blair Blvd, Nashville, TN. 37212
