Howard was born April 18, 1932 to the late Clarence Williams Sr. and Dan Ella Mason Williams. He was the third child of four children.
Howard Lee Williams life can be characterized as being funny, joking and a serious person. To know him was to love him. Mr. Williams made many friends during his lifetime, he knew and understood the value of friendship. He was known as '"Squally" to his friends and "Pap" to his grandchildren.
Howard was educated in the Nashville Davidson County School System. He entered the military (Army Branch) at an early age. Howard worked several jobs he worked Metro Board of Education Maintenance Department until his health failed and he retired in 1989.
Howard leaves to cherish his memories a devoted daughter and caregiver Phyllis (Malin) Talley; daughters, Deborah ( Samuel) Mc Keever, Regina George, Veronica (Larry) Mc Clendon; Sons, Charles ( Teresa) Williams and Jesse Williams; Devoted Sister, AnnaBelle Bass; Sisters, Alvina Williams, Pamela Williams; brother, Clarence H. Williams; Twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; four nephews and nine nieces a host of other family and friends.
