Ida Jo Dailey Crutcher was born September 20, 1960 to the late John and Mary Gooch.
Ida attended Pearl High School and she furthered her education by attending Belmont University.
She was a very vibrant and beautiful soul. Ida loved singing, song writing, directing choirs, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ida was employed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Neurosurgery Department, she also has worked as a surgical coordinator, and she has worked at Aspire Healthcare as a scheduler there as well. Ida enjoyed meeting new people and her smile was captivating.
Ida was smart, loving, sensitive, caring,and giving. She had a deep passion for life and believed in maximizing every moment. Despite life’s challenges, she remained upbeat and positive and kept the faith. Within her illness she prayed, shared scriptures, and other spiritual faith building materials, often reaffirming her faith in God believing that God can do all things but fail. Ida is preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Gooch, she leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children; Terry Stevenson, Shireeka Crutcher, Roslyn Stevenson; one grandchild, Gabrielle (Sweet Pea) Stevenson; stepson Terrence Stevenson; loving brother, Robert Gooch and a host of brothers, sisters, and other relatives and friends.
