Jacqueline Denise Griffin was born October 18, 1961. She transitioned from this life on May 7, 2018 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.
Jackie was the daughter of the late Howard “Jelly Roll” Howse and James Waddy. The sister of the late Shawn D. Griffin, aunt of the late Howard Jr. and grand-daughter of the late Mother Virgie Howse.
Jackie confessed her life to Christ at an early age at Belle Meade Church (UPB), she remained a faithful member until our savior called her home.
Jackie was a graduate of Pearl High, class of 1979, where she was a half timer, dancer and studied tailoring. She also was a faithful usher at Belle Meade Church (UPB) and Big Harper United Primitive Baptist Association.
Jackie worked at Vanderbilt campus plant operations for fourteen years.
She was very family oriented. She loved people and especially “ALL” of the children she helped raised. She loved looking in the mirror at herself. One of her favorite saying “Don’t cost you a dime to stay out of mines”, and she was never ashamed to express her love for the lord. She will be truly missed.
