Jacquelyn L. Jaynes Age 69 of Nashville, Tennessee transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Jacquelyn was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 15, 1945. She was raised by Leroy and Mabel Robinson. Jacquelyn was later reunited with her birth mother Ophelia Kilson Rowlette in the 1990’s. She went to high school at John Marshall High School and graduated in 1963. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in 2008 from Hamilton College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Jacquelyn then went on to earn a Masters of Education in 2011 from University of Phoenix in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jacquelyn was ordained an Elder on September 1992 by Bishop William E. Taylor of House of Prayer Independent Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon moving to Iowa, Jacquelyn sat under Wendell A Beets of Greater Word of Faith Pentecostal COGIC for nine years. Upon moving to Nashville Jacquelyn was the Women's Supervisor and one of the Assistant Pastors for New Testament Believers Fellowship Church under Pastor Michael C Davis Jr.
Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Robinson and birth mother, Ophelia Kilson Rowlette.
Jacquelyn is survived by her former husband, Lindsey Jaynes Jr.; father, Leroy Robinson; daughter, Dolly Yvette Jaynes-Beets of Nashville, TN; son, Stephen Eugene Jaynes of Chicago, IL; daughter, Leticia Dawn Jaynes-Jones (Jerry Jones) of Chicago, IL; sister, Ella Savage (Sissy) of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Henry Rowlette of New Jersey; sister, Laurie Foster of New Jersey; sister, Ramona Street (Bunny) of Chicago Illinois and her sister, Janice Banks of Mississippi; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
