Jesse Leroy Jones

Jesse Leroy Jones affectionately called " Thriller" was the fourth child of seven. On Friday February 5, 2016, Leroy slipped the bonds of the earthly shell and saved with the angels to a place not made by man. There at last to live and take a well deserved rest with his Heavenly Father.

Leroy was educated in the Metro Davidson County School System. He worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken for many years where he received a Dedicated Tennessean Award by the state of Tennessee. He worked, prayed, lived, loved and loved in return by many in the Nashville area.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Nelson Jones, Sister Shirley Nathan and Brother William Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory three loving children, Octavius Beard, David and Marguerite Jones; grandchildren, Destyni, Amani and Sanniyah; sisters, Doris Kennedy and Faye Jones; brothers Ewing and Howard (Edna) Jones. He is also survived by many devoted nieces, nephews and friends.
