Jessie Mai Harris

Mrs. Jessie Mai Harris "Grannie", of Smyrna, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 85.

Jessie was born to parents George and Pearl Carter on July 7, 1932 in Bug Holler, TN. In 1992, she married the love of her life, Houston Harris, who preceded her in death in 2011. She was a Nurse at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. a passion for taking care of people is something she loved dearly. In 1979, she dedicated her life to Jehovah and lived the rest of her life teaching others about the bible and the promises the Bible holds.

Jessie is survived by her Children (in order of age), her son, Allen (Debbie) Wilson of Gulf Shores, Al; her daughter, Janice Williams of Smyrna, Tn; her daughter, Regina Wallace of Rockvale,Tn; her son, Jeff Wilson of Nashville,Tn; eleven grandchildren, Kristina Wilson of Murfreesboro,Tn; Kelli (John) Brewer of Eagleville,Tn; Jeramie Hill of Murfreesboro,Tn; Breanna (Leon) Robertson of Goodlettsville,Tn; Karla (Marshall) Fields of Murfreesboro,Tn; Hannah Hill of Hendersonville, Tn; Tate Owens of Rockvale,Tn; Rodney (Tammy) Huffman of Nashville, Tn; Myron (Tammy)

Huffman of Murfreesboro,Tn; Morgan Wilson of Nashville,Tn; and Sarah Wilson of Nashville,Tn; and seven great-grandchildren, Draven Wallace of Redondo Beach,Ca; Ethan Hill of Kansas City, Mo; Matthew Brewer of Rockvale,Tn; Alexis and Austin Kee of Murfreesboro,Tn; and Kobe and Aaliyah Fields of Murfreesboro,Tn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Houston Harris; her parents, George and Pearl Carter; her grandson, Greg Wilson; her six brothers; her sister, Stella Sellars.

A Memorial Service will take place on December 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 231 Todd Ln, Smyrna, Tn.
