Joe Douglas Harney, age 80 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Arthur, Grant, Robert, Tyree, Hobson Harney and Arthur Harney Jr.; sisters, Irene Dangerfield, Jenny Pasty, Mildred Avery, and Maggie Mae McLaurine.
Joe leaves to cherish a loving devoted wife of 30 years, Diane N. Harney; three children, Sharon, Joe E. (Cherilyn), Kerry Harney; stepdaughters, Sharon D. (Louis) Rosado; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Irene Dangerfield; brother, Nathaniel Harvey Sr.; sister-in-law, Evon Hurt, Alma Harney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
